A weekend full of ups and downs

Unfortunately this race weekend was not as successful from the sports perspective as would have been desirable.

After a turbulent qualifying on Saturday, that was dominated by yellow flags, Sean started from the second row on the 3rd place.

His team colleagues Jeroen and Khaled started from 6th and 19th. On Sunday Jeroen narrowly missed the podium and came in 4th. Sean sadly placed 6th.  Khaled snatched place 18 and secured some more championship points.

Sean had to give up the drivers lead. In the team standings we still place 2nd, but the jury is still out on that.

We wouldn’t be tolimit, if we wouldn’t have made the best out of the race weekend. We had reason to celebrate because our tire specialist Achim just recently became a grandpa.

But does one need a walking aid just because one’s a grandpa now???
