After 5 years Micha leaves tolimit. For personal reasons he decided to relocate to the south of Germany, starting from the 1st of February 2012. The former race driver and management assistant will further be working in the motorsports field.
The passion for motorsports has always enthused the trained car mechanic and automobile merchant. In his active racing career he won the championship in the Porsche Sports Cup 2008. 2007 Micha started his career at tolimit as an instructor. His experiences in motorsports and business administration lead to him being announced Head of Motorsport at tolimit in the beginning of 2011. Next to the coordination of the motorsports activities he managed the ‘Team Abu Dhabi by tolimit’ in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup. 2012 a new life stage starts in the south of Germany for the Hegau born:
“First, I have talked to Hans-Bernd and then to the management openly about my personal development. They understood my reasoning and never put obstacles in the way. Quite the opposite, they have supported me entirely. The decision was not easy at all, since some of my colleagues have become friends. A company is characterized by its employees and I also see Hans-Bernd and Jörg as a part of it. They have always supported and challenged me. As a passionate motorsports addict I am very proud of the things we have established and developed. Not only do the successes on the race track speak for themselves but also the expansion of tolimit’s agency services.
As a matter of fact, you always meet twice in a lifetime, in motorsports maybe even 5 times. The relations and friendships I have with tolimit employees will still be important to me. Beyond this, there surely will be common ground on the future platforms for designing and even developing concepts together.
At this point, I would like to thank Hans-Bernd, Jörg, and of course the entire group for the exceptional teamwork. You are and always will be an awesome team and I wish you much success and joy in the future.”
Micha will take on his new challenge at Abt Sportsline starting on the 1st of February 2012 and therefore stay true to motorsports.
