Sean Edwards – The self-confident Brit

Together with the Team Deutsche Post by Project 1, Sean is contendig his fourth season in the German Porsche Carrera Cup.

He will also start in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup with the same team. The charismatic Brit is well learned from experience and is surely the top title contender in both series. Next to his talent on the race track he will be coaching his team member Sean Johnston. The experienced Porsche driver will be supported the newcomer through his knowledge.

Sean’s unbelievable career began with the entry to the Virtual Racing Nissan GT Academy after he was the fastest virtual race in the game Gran Turismo 5. Just one year later, the young american emerged into the world of real motorsports, winning the IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge championship in his first year ever racing cars. This year, the exceptional talent will be starting in the Porsche Carrera Cup together with the Team Deutsche Post by Project 1 the first time. He will be supported by his colleague and coach Sean Edwards

Jeffrey Schmidt – the ambitious Swiss

The young Swiss went the classic way in motorsports and was successful in kart sports where he left alasting impression.

In the last two years, the rookie drove in the Formula 3 series for Team Lotus, in which he finished third last season. In 2013, the ambitious Jeffrey will be starting his first season in the Porsche Carrera Cup for the Team Deutsche Post by Project 1.
